Oliver—We pray for him to continue to be excited about God's Word and for him to strive daily to live in obedience to the Lord. - Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Terrelle—We make an earnest appeal to God to change his life and turn him to the ways of the Lord. We cry out to God to fully intervene IN and rule OVER his life and to deliver him from those strongholds that are holding him captive. - Acts 5:16 The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

 We have several funerals today. We lift up the families of Doretha Butler and Pastor Leroy Powell as they attend homegoing services. We also lift Colin Matthews and His Family as they funeralize his uncle. We ask the Lord to give them the level of strength needed to get through today and the future. - "In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul." (Psalm 138:3). 

Alice Blue Family—We ask the Lord to cover them with his compassion as they make funeral arrangements. - Psalm 42:8 By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.

Single Moms—We urge God to send them a godly husband who will help them build a home according to the scriptures, a husband who will love them for who they are and one who will help them lead and guide their children into the will of God. We also ask for their spiritual and financial needs to be supplied. - Psalm 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Those diagnosed with incurable diseases—We pray for God to put symptoms and diseases into remission, for medications and treatments to be effective with minimal side effects, for strength, for encouragement, and for total restoration of health. -  Psalm 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!  Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.

Everyone on the call this morning—We ask God to endow you with power to stay in His will, to walk uprightly and to obey His Word. We ask Him to supply companionship to those who are lonely, boldness to those who are fearful, relief to those who are struggling, guidance to those who have to make a decision, staying power to those who are at the end of their rope, and for your heart to overflow with joy today. - Rom 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things?

Lacey B—He is undergoing open heart Surgery today. We pray God controls the intellect and the hands of the doctors, nurses and everyone on the medical team. We also pray he is healed 100%. - Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

Lunette—We cry out to the Lord to fill her with His Holy Spirit and grow her closer to Him. - Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

C J—We implore God to cover him with His favor, to guide him on his next steps and to keep him focused on the things of God. - Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Those who have received an unfavorable doctor report—We plead with God to inject healing into sick bodies, strength into weak limbs, and clear thinking into tired mind. We also ask Him to encourage families dealing will sick relatives. -  Jeremiah 33:6 - Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

Those who are fearful about what "might" happen—We ask God to show you how to trust Him and to give you a peaceful mind. - "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

Those with stressful jobs—We pray God changes hearts and minds and replaces stress in the workplace with calmness. - Psalm 97:1 The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!

High School and College Seniors—As they take prepare for graduation, we pray they recall the knowledge needed so they can pass their exams. We also ask for credits needed to be met. - Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

Everyone on the call this morning—We petition God to order your steps, to go before you to prepare the way and to give you wisdom to yield to Him in all situations you encounter today. - Eph 3:20 God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Logan, D's son—We petition the Lord to empower Logan to finish the school year strong and to complete his classes with the understanding and grades needed for success in college. - "In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul." (Psalm 138:3).

Donna—We appeal to God to reveal Himself to her in a greater way, for her to grow in God's will and His power, and for her to be empowered with a passion to move God's kingdom forward. - John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Sherrie—We pray for the Lord to supply all her needs, for her to be protected from the destruction of the enemy and for her to accomplish all she sets out to do. - 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Rita L—She is having surgery this morning. We pray for all to go well and for her to have a complete recovery. - James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

The family of Brianna Paskell, 26 years old from Miami, FL—She was shot and killed. We lift the family for comfort and unity as they make homegoing arrangements. - "In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul." (Psalm 138:3). 

Sister Dora W—We petition the Lord to renew her body, to replenish her strength and to heal her 100%.  (Psalms 6:2 NKJV) Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

Strong-willed teenagers—We pray for God to convict their hearts, renew their minds, and refresh a right spirit within them. We also pray for their parents' resolve to be strengthened. - The Lord my God will circumcise my heart and the heart of my descendants, to love the Lord God with all our hearts and with all our souls, that we may live. (Deuteronomy 30:6)

Everyone on the call today—We ask God to make your path clear, to protect your mind from doubt, to keep your faith strong, and to help you represent Jesus in the best light. - Isaiah 30:15b, In quietness and trust is your strength.

Angie—We ask the Lord to help her rebuild her life after the death of her husband. - Psalm 120:1 I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me.

Franchon—The Lord is healing her of cancer. She is now walking. We continue to pray for healing and strength in her body and strength for the family in Jesus Christ.

Church Leaders and Workers—We pray for their commitment to remain strong, their conscience to remain clear and for their hearts to always be pliable before the Lord. - Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

All those with past due student loans—We ask God to provide the resources to bring the payments current and to keep them paid on time. - Psalm 119:114 You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.

Marriages where there is division and disharmony—We pray God resurrect the lines of communications. We ask Him to sustain relationships and restore unity and love. - Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Those who are having a hard time with their job supervisor—We pray for God's favor to rule, for His powerful hand to control and for His presence to provide peace. - Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”

Brandy—We ask the Lord to bless her with reliable transportation. We also pray for patience with herself and her child and peace in her home. - Psalm 115:14 (NIV) 14 May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.

BP—We pray with her to make godly decisions and not decisions based on her flesh or feelings. We ask God to help her to be strategic in all her endeavors. And, help her to be tactful with others and speak in love. - Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Lisa D—She is having eye surgery this morning. We pray for the Lord to guide the intellect and the hands of the surgeon. We also pray for a speedy recovery. - Psalm 57:1 “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until the destroying storms pass by.”

The family of Pastor Cherry—He passed away Sunday. We pray God's comfort, strength and unity as they plan his homegoing services. We ask for safety for those who are traveling. - Isaiah 57:2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

RP—She is a widow and is having bouts of depression. We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, her body and her spirit.  And, we pray for her to be set free. - And they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:26 (NASB)

Those facing an unexpected situation—We beseech God to hold you steady. We ask Him to grant you wisdom, answers, and peace of mind. - James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Darlene—Reveal to her the need to live a life that lines up with God's word and help her to do so. - Jeremiah 33:6 - Behold, I will bring you health and a cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

Lisa C—She has to have back surgery due to constant back pain, but she has to have open heart surgery first. We ask the Lord to guide her decisions and to heal her body and make her well. - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. - Romans 8:11

Mother Ruth—We ask God for continued good health, spiritual and physical strength, and for His grace to carry her through each day. - Proverbs 36:7 How precious is your lovingkindness, O God!  And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Derrick—We call upon the Lord to keep his spirit protected, his marriage strong, his family on one accord and his children safe. - Psalm 112:5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. (NIV)

Crystal—We keep her lifted for supernatural debt cancellation and for her to be covered by the blood of Jesus. - "Listen for GOD’S voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track." Proverbs 3:6 (MSG)

Confused Minds—We ask God to fix broken minds, to restore clear thinking and to regulate the ability to understand and communicate with others rationally. - Isaiah 59:19  … When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Those looking for a job—We pray God provides jobs with family sustaining wages. We also pray the unemployed remain encouraged and engaged in the job-hunting process. - Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Everyone on the call this morning—We beseech God to continue to hold you up, to grant you everything you need, and to give you purpose and a positive outlook on the day.  - 2 Pet 1:3 His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him.

Mallory, Turner, Riddick, Wilson and Monroe Families—Martha R's Aunt Martha passed. She was the last member of her generation. Her celebration of life will be Thursday in Madison, VA. We pray for the Lord to cover the family with his compassion. - Psalms 94:19 When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. 

Ellis—He has been diagnosed with leukemia. We pray for him to be healed. We also lift the family for guidance and strength. - Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT) “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

JaMon and Imani—We beseech God for total surrender of their lives to Him, for divine protection and for God's plan for each of them to come to pass. - Romans 12:2, ESV Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Those preaching today—We pray the Word goes forth with power and for it to accomplish the purpose for which God sent it. - Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Those with upcoming court appearances—We pray that God will provide the favor needed as they attend and participate in court hearings, for decisions that are handed down to be favorable, and for concerns to be replaced with God's assurance of His control of the situation. - Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Those who are  holding onto the past—We pray for animosity to be released, for the past wrongs to be let go of, and for contentious spirits to be transformed to spirits of kindness and respect. - "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15 (NIV)

All those on the call this morning—We petition God to protect you from seen and unseen evil, for this day to be a joy-filled one, and for God to supply you an abundance of favor. - Psalm 27:2-When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.

Pastor John C—He was rushed to the hospital yesterday. We call upon the Lord to restore his health and to strengthen his family. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Ava—She had heart surgery Feb 14th. We pray for a good and quick recovery. - Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

John D—We lift him for complete healing from back surgery. - 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

Tanya R—We pray for complete healing from brain surgery. - Matthew 9:21 For she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.”

Jo S, 17 years old—He has Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are praying with his mother, W for a sound mind and healing. - Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Adam and young adults who have defied the teachings of their parents—We plead the blood of Jesus over our teenagers. We bind self-will and we lose obedience. We declare spiritual insight making decisions. We also pray for continued safety and protection from the enemy. - Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Everyone on the call this morning—We call upon God to order your day, direct your way, and grant you favor as you go about your daily tasks. - Ps 119:1 1-8 You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. Joyce of Jacksonville—The doctors did a procedure on her last Friday to resolve a blockage. Since the blockage was not resolved, she had to undergo major surgery earlier this week. We lift her for a complete recovery and for her to be restored to trouble-free health. - Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

Sheila—She is having a biopsy today. We call upon the Lord for negative results and we ask him to sustain her good health. - Psalm 138:8a: "The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever." (ESV)

Tashia and Sabrina—We pray for a closer walk with God, for their priority to be on Him and His plans for them, and for them to make a difference in society. - “Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence.” (Psalm 105:4 MSG)

Tyler, in middle school—We demolish the stronghold of self-will.  We ask God to soften his will, change his mind, and give him a spirit of obedience and submission to God's Word. - 2 Corin. 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Our Young Adults (those in college and those on jobs)—We implore God to give them the mind of Christ, endow them with revelation knowledge of God's Word, and to keep them protected and in His will. - Proverbs 4:26 Give careful thought to the path for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

Those with a chemical imbalance—We continue to pray for our family members who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder. We ask God to allow them to function normally in society and to protect them from harm and from being taken advantage of. We also ask for an encounter with God so they will get in His will and live according to His Word. - Joel 2:25-26, ESV I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.

Everyone on the call—We petition God to send the angels before you and clear your path. We pray for a day filled with blessings for you, for those in your circle and for those you come in contact with. - Psalm 37:23 The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.

The K family—We pray for them to find the house God has set aside for them. - Isaiah 48:17 This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

Betty T—She has another interview today for the employment tax agent position. We ask the Lord to give her favor and bless her with the job. - Isaiah 30:21, "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’" (NIV)

Darius—He has relocated to Gainesville to finish his engineer degree and is seeking a job. We pray God blesses him with a job. - Psalm 16:11, "Instead, You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment." (VOICE)

Markese—He was shot. We pray for the Lord to cultivate his heart and to heal his body. - 2 Corinthians 4:6, "For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ." (NIV)

Rev. Pam Powell—Her husband, Rev. Leroy Powell passed Tuesday. We ask our Heavenly Father to cover her with his deepest compassion and to strengthen her for what lies ahead. - Isaiah 49:10b He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.

Strong-willed aging parents—We also ask God to humble their spirits and soften their words. - “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” —Psalm 51:10–12

Those who need their faith strengthened—We pray their endurance is strengthened and for them to stand strong. - Matthew 17:20 If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Everyone on the call this morning—We pray for God's mercy to cover you, for  His angels to protect you and for His generous hand to provide for you. - Psalm 20:1-2;4 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

Linda of Miami—She is in a coma. We cry out on her behalf for healing. We also pray strength for her family. - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. — Romans 8:11

C. Ward—She is traveling with a church group to Israel. We ask the Lord to cover them with His mercy and keep them safe. - Psalm 3:5 I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me.

Joyce M—She had a mammogram and received notice to come back for a 2nd one. We pray with her for the results to be negative and we ask the Lord to keep her healthy spiritually and physically. - Isaiah 59:19  When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Neema (teenager)—She is a Sickle Cell patient and was admitted  to All Children's hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. We pray for her body to stabilize and for total healing. - Psalm 41:2-3  “The Lord protects and preserves them—they are counted among the blessed in the land—he does not give them over to the desire of their foes.  The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.”

Arizona—She is on antibiotics for a wound on her foot. We intercede for swift and total healing. - Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

Kesha—We beseech God to keep her spirit strong, to grant her success as she completes her medical school residency and to cover her in every area of her life. - Psalm 119:116 Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

Those Recovering from Drug Addiction—We thank God for their progress, and for the supportive people He has placed around them. We pray they are strengthened in their will to resist drug use, for their minds to be reprogrammed, and for their spirits to be quickened and protected from the enemy and his tricks. - 1 Corin 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Delores H—She is currently in rehab after a stay in the hospital. We lift her for complete healing. We also pray for God to strengthen and guide the family as they navigate their mother's care. - Ps 138:8 The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

Meesha—We ask the Lord to keep her close and to order her steps on her job every day. - Luke 8:48 Jesus said, "Daughter, you took a risk trusting me, and now you're healed and whole. Live well, live blessed!"

S.B.—We ask for the paperwork for her disability approval to go  through successfully. - Psalm 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.

The unsaved among us—We pray God endows them with spiritual wisdom and a revealed knowledge of His Word. We call upon Him to renew minds and convict spirits. - Ephesians 1:17-18 [Pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Those sick in our prayer family—We pray for bodies to be regulated, for minds to be stabilized, for the correct diagnosis to be made, and for total healing. - Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.

Our Teenagers and Young Adults—We plead with God to keep His eyes upon them, to endow them with discernment about the company they keep, and to surround them with His presence, His wisdom and His ways. - (Proverbs 4:20-22 NKJV) My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

The Senior Adults Among us—We pray that they want for nothing. We ask the Lord to give them contentment and peace and to make a way for them to be cared for with gentleness and compassion. - Jeremiah 30:20-22 Their children will be as in days of old, and their community will be established before me; I will punish all who oppress them. Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near, and he will come close to me, for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me' declares the LORD. " 'So you will be my people, and I will be your God.' "

Abigail Arias, a 6-year-old girl in Texas—She was sworn in as an honorary police officer. She has an incurable cancer and wants to become a cop so she can fight the "bad guys in her body." We pray for the Lord to have mercy on her and heal her body. - “The waters closed in over me to take my life; the deep surrounded me; weeds were wrapped about my head at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God. Makayla H, 5 years old—She is experiencing a devastating complication from the flu. Doctors told her family that she had Encephalitis, or inflammation of the brain, brought on by influenza. We lift her up for total healing. - Psa 23:6 Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.

Those who have medical tests and medical procedures today and this week—We pray medical tests and procedures are done properly and that the results come back with no issues. - Hebrews 6:17-19 Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

The Tyler family—Their mom's home going service is this morning. We lift them up for God's strength and his loving-kindness to carry them through this difficult time of bereavement. - 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Mother Fleet —She was just placed in hospice. We pray for her comfort and for God to be with and strengthen her son, Edmund as God does His perfect work in Mother Fleet's life. - Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. Tricia's grand mom—She is hospitalized. We ask the Lord to raise her off his sick bed and make her whole again. - Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT) “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

Alice, Bob and People in and out of unhealthy relationships—We pray God impart spiritual stability, self-control, self-discipline and an appetite to live for him wholeheartedly. - “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11)

Disabled Veterans - those paralyzed, those with immobility, those with brain & spinal cord injuries, and amputees—We call upon God for a miraculous healing and for all needs to be provided. - Matthew 25:40 "The king will answer them, 'I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant [they seemed], you did for me. Local and Long-distance Truck Drivers—We pray for spiritual growth, for God's wisdom in making decisions, and for them and their families to be upheld spiritually and to be kept safe. - 2 Thess 1:11-12 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Those who just received a new job—We call upon the Lord to shower them with favor as they prepare to take a new job, for Him to impart creativity and courage as they step out in faith, and for God to continue to work the plan He has for their lives. - Joshua 1:5-6 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people [your students] to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

We ask Him to keep her body free from sickness and disease and help her increase in the knowledge of God's word. - Psalm 91:1-3   He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

Larry W of Savannah, GA—He has hernia surgery this morning.  We pray for all to go well and for him to have a complete recovery. - James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

The family of Lowlie Armstrong—We ask the Lord to give her husband, Edward and the family strength to get through the days ahead. Those who are overwhelmed by a recent incident—We plead with God for His presence to surround them and for them to enjoy a spirit of peace. - Psalm 139:7-10  Where shall I go from your Spirit? If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

Those who are going through a period of suffering—We urge God to keep them strong and obedient to his Word. We ask Him to lay his hands on their situation and work it out for their good. - Psalm 138:7  Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.

Taryn Rose—She is eight years old and has challenges reading. We cry out to God to protect her. We pray she knows how awesome she is. We know that the Lord has placed an abundance of knowledge and wisdom in her. We believe that in due season, the brilliance, intelligence and discernment will be manifested. We thank God for all He will do in her and through her. - 2 Pet 1:3 His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him.

Joy—We ask God to protect her and her offspring and keep them safe. - “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted” (Job 5:9).

Junior—We pray for his mental state to stabilize, for spiritual wisdom and for him to be released from the stronghold of negative influences. - 2 Corinthians 10:4, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds."

Adults in School—We pray God's favor on their progress, and for them to recall the knowledge needed to pass all upcoming exams. Those with deadlines at work—Pray work projects that are due are completed on time and with high quality. - Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Children caught in custody battles—We appeal to God to protect children from hurt,  harm and danger. - 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Widows, Orphans and the Homeless—We pray they are strengthened more and more everyday, that they see God's presence in the small things, and for Him to guide them to a place of peace and assurance that your needs will be met.

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Myrna and everyone with a cleaning business—We pray for an abundance of clients, for growth beyond what can be handled, and for God's favor to overtake small businesses. - Psalm 34:10 those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Young Families—We entreat God to be ever-present in their hearts and in their homes. - Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Single Parents—We pray for divine priority of time, for structure and discipline in the home, and for finances to be managed to the glory of God. - Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the LORD all the day.  Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 23:17-18 

Those who have returned to drug use—We ask God to break their self-will and replace it with the things of God.  We ask for spiritual wisdom in making decisions, spiritual growth in the things of God and for revelation knowledge of God's Word. As God completes His work in their lives, we also pray for safety and protection. - Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Dorothy—She has a colonoscopy this morning. We pray that the results show negative and for her body to be vibrant like in her youth. -  Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Imani and all those transitioning into adulthood—We ask the Lord to fill them with His Holy Spirit, for everything they do to be done with a pure heart and for them to be guided by the light of the Word. -My descendants shall be known among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed. (Isaiah 61:9)

College and Young Adult Children who are thinking of harming themselves—We command that the stronghold of suicide be destroyed, and we ask the Lord to deliver them from the vices that are holding them in spiritual captivity. - Jeremiah 46:27 - But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make [him] afraid.

Husbands and Wives—We make an earnest appeal to God for daily strength in their walk, for God to work out every situation that concerns them and for Him to keep His hand upon their words, their actions and their lives. - Hebrews 10:35-36 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Those with cancer, sickle cell and lupus—We lift our sick loved ones for days full of energy and nights filled with rest. We ask for total healing. We also lift caregivers for strength. - Hebrews 6:18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. (NLT)

Mrs. Gussie A—She became ill on the way back from a wedding in Orlando. She was transported to a hospital in Ft. Pierce. She was diagnosed with blood clots. Those who have been sick for quite a while now—We pray God protect you from being robbed of your joy, keep you from the stronghold of doubt, and strengthen your faith for everything you are believing God for. - Psalm 3:2-6 Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." "Selah"  But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.  To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. "Selah"  I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.  I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.

PC—We stand in agreement with her for God's favor and for a job offer from yesterday's interview. - Proverbs 3:6 - In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. John 14:14 - If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

Brian, Sister M's grandson in Massachusetts—He is hospitalized. We ask the Lord to raise him off his sick bed and make him whole again. - Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT) “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

The Jackson Family—His funeral is Saturday at 2:30pm in Apopka, FL. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Marvin Zanders Funeral Home is making the arrangements. We ask the Lord to give Sister Betty McKnight and the family strength to get through the days ahead. We pray for their comfort and for the Lord to be in their presence and keep them on one accord. - Psalm 138:3, "As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength." NLT

Our teenage children—We pray they follow the moral compass instilled in them during their formative years, for them to resist peer pressure, and for them to walk out the teachings from the Bible. - "My child don't lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them for they will refresh your soul." Proverbs 3:21-22a

Broken Family Relationships—We pray family members who are at odds with one another will reason together, reconcile their differences and move forward in unity. - Rom 15:5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus.

Jackie P—We keep her lifted before the Lord for total healing and for her to be surrounded by God-fearing doctors and staff. We thank God for all he has done and for what he is doing right now to restore her health. - (Luke 6:19 NKJV) And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.

Lillie O and her family members—They are traveling to Orlando this morning for her niece's wedding. We pray they have a wonderful fellowship and safe travels to and from their destination. - Psalm 3:3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

TW, teenager—We pray he has a teachable, humble spirit on and off the basketball court so those around him will allow him to lead and be led. We also pray his God-given talent will earn him a free college education. - Job 10:12 You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your care has preserved my spirit.

The flu bug that is going around—We pray for the Lord to destroy it in its tracks.
