Isaac-We ask the Lord to soothe the pain of losing his loved one and comfort him during this time of grief. - Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Unmarried Young Ladies-We pray for them to remain in God's hands and wait patiently as God manifests His plans for them. We pray for the Lord to do a powerful work in and through their lives. - Psalm 33:20-22 - We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.

Drug Addicts in our families-We bind the stronghold of drugs and alcohol in the lives of husbands, wives and children who are being held captive by the vices of the world. We cry out for God to give them a spirit of self-restraint and a stronger relationship with God. We pray they are permanently delivered from drugs and alcohol. - Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Family Matriarchs and Patriarchs-We make an earnest appeal to God to strengthen their spirits, sustain their minds and keep their bodies strong. Those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities-We lift them up for their spiritual and all their other needs to be met and for protection from sickness and disease. - Deut. 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Our imprisoned family members-We ask God to protect them from hurt, harm and danger and for them to grow in the love and ways of Christ. - Psalm 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
Those with an unsettled spirit and a restless mind-We petition the Lord foe a calm spirit, a quiet mind and total tranquility throughout the day. - Phil 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. CW-He was taken to the emergency room with trouble breathing. We pray for his body to be regulated and for a complete and speedy recovery. We also pray for all test results to come back negative. - 3 John 1:2 I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers.

Those struggling to hold onto their faith-We call upon God to permeate their spirits with His Word and for them to be strengthened with hope beyond measure. - Exodus 14:13-14, "Moses told them to fear not and stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Don't allow the enemy to provoke you to say things that you know are wrong. Hold your peace, let God fight the battle. All you have to do is trust Him. He will show up."

Unsaved Family Members—We pray salvation for those who are unsaved, spiritual growth for those who are saved and protection from the enemy. - Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Those having to decide which doctor to use for a procedure—We call upon God for clear guidance and instruction on which doctor to use, for medical diagnoses to be accurate and for outcomes to be favorable. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Those working to rebuild their lives—We petition God for guidance and discernment. - John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Couples struggling to blend their families into one—We pray for God to enlighten them on how to meld their lives into one, for Him to give them wise parenting skills and for them to continue to work at becoming a cohesive unit using Biblical principles. - Rom 15:5-6 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
