“Always on His Mind”
By Dianne Prince
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV).
Every now and then, we go through seasons where we feel completely alone. In those moments, our faith can be hijacked by anxious thoughts, and our peace can be disrupted by overwhelming emotions. But today’s scripture is a powerful reminder: we are never truly alone. God not only sees us, but He is also actively thinking about us. His mind is set on peace for us, not harm. His plans are rooted in love, designed to give us a future filled with purpose and promise.
When someone we love is going through a tough time, we think of them throughout the day and might whisper a prayer on their behalf. But even with the best intentions, our power is limited.
God, on the other hand, thinks of us continuously—and He does not just care; He can act. He has the power to step into our situation, to carry the burdens we cannot lift, to heal hurting hearts, to restore what is broken, and to work all things together for good.
So when life feels heavy, when it seems like no one understands or nothing is going right, remember: you are always in God’s view. He knows when you are up and when you are down. He sees your needs, and He is always working behind the scenes—even when you cannot see Him moving.
God is thinking of you right now. His Word is the perfect “thinking of you” card, written with love and filled with power.
