Our Young People who need to move forward-We pray God covers them with His divine wisdom, for them to learn how to persevere when things do not go their way and for them to heed wise counsel. – Psalm 42:8 By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.
Our Enemies-We pray for God’s presence in their lives. We ask Him to bless them abundantly and for good things to come their way. – Philippians 2:2 Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
For the Unhoused-May they be covered by the Mighty Hand of God and blessed with shelter, food, and clothes. – Psalm 16:8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Those in transition from the hospital to a rehab facility-We call upon God for a smooth and compatible transition to a nursing facility. We ask God for faithful caregivers and divine healing. – Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Val, Cal, Toni and all those travelling today and this weekend-We lift them for safety to and from their destination. – Psalm 139:9-10 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
Those involved in Misunderstandings-We pray for communications lines to open, for honest dialogue and for reconciliation. – Psalm 37:7 – Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Everyone on the call this morning-We petition God to give you the portion of spiritual discernment needed to make sound decisions, for self-control when dealing with today’s issues, and for opportunities to motivate someone to endure through hardships. – Prov 11:25 The generous person will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.
Evening and Morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
