“A Work in Progress”
By Dianne Prince
“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6, NKJV).
We are not a finished product. Each of us is a masterpiece in the making. God is still working, shaping us by grace, molding us with mercy, and holding us together with unfailing love. Even in our brokenness, He has not stopped. Our past does not erase His promises. Our flaws do not disqualify our future.
God is not waiting for perfection before He moves. He meets us right where we are—weak, weary, or wondering—and equips us with exactly what we need. He brings success from failure and He speaks new beginnings over what feels like the end. Every day is a fresh page in the story He is writing with our life.
Your reminder for today is this: there is no chapter He cannot redeem. Every delay, detour, and disappointment is part of a bigger plan. When you feel like giving up, remember: God is still working on you.
So lift your head. You are not behind—you are becoming. Pray boldly: Lord, equip me even in my brokenness. Use every piece of my story for Your glory.
And take heart—He will finish what He started. The best is still being written.
