Michael C-We ask God for ongoing divine favor and protection from the enemy. – Proverbs 16:7 – When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Terrelle-We pray for his heart to turn toward God and His actions to reflect spiritual growth. – Psalm 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
Those who take medicine to regulate the chemistry in their bodies-We pray for them to take their medicines as prescribed, for God to permanently heal their chemical imbalance and restore their minds to good health. – Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult.”
Our strong-willed little ones-We pray for their energy to be channeled to do good and for them to be mannerable, and respectful and walk in self-control. – Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Young People who have mis-placed priorities-We pray God performs spiritual surgery on their minds and on their hearts. We ask Him to implant in them the desire for the things of God. – nothing more and nothing less. – Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Those who need an increase in their income-We ask God to grant them an additional stream of income. We ask him to make their path clear and lead them to a place of no struggle in their finances and spiritual contentment. – John 16:24 – Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Those with unspoken needs-We pray you continue in patience and perseverance with the expectation that God will supply all your needs in excess. – Psalms 33:20-22 Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray endurance for those in need of staying power, increased faith for those who have allowed doubt to creep into their minds, and perseverance for those who are growing weary. – Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD and He inclined to me and heard my cry.
