Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church-The church is celebrating its 106th Anniversary this weekend with a Block Party today from 11am – 2 pm. It is open to the community. Tomorrow is a special service with great music, liturgical dancing and great preaching with a guest preacher Rev. Keith Butler from Tampa. We pray for a successful Anniversary wherein God is glorified and souls are saved. – Isaiah 25:1 [Praise to the Lord] Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

Church Leadership -We ask the Lord to cover them as they manage the daily demands of their jobs and grant them grace as they navigate according to God’s guidance. – Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

Patrick-We pray for him to gain strength from God’s promises and for God to keep him grounded. – Psalm 119:50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

Rhonda-We call upon God for a stable marriage and for a home environment that has Christ as the core. – 1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

Stroke Victims-We appeal to God to heal their bodies and give them back their normal body movement. – Exodus 15:26 “And He said, ‘If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer’.”

Law enforcement Officers-We pray they conduct themselves with integrity, that they be peacemakers, and that they be protected as they perform their duties. – Romans 13:4 (MSG) The police aren’t there just to be admired in their uniforms. God also has an interest in keeping order, and he uses them to do it. Psalms 91:11 He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.

Those running errands today-We pray for peace as you prepare for their errands, transportation to get there, and safety and divine favor in the results. – The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11).

Everyone on the call-We pray for the Lord to Open your ears to hear His voice, open your heart to receive His guidance, and give you courage to follow wherever He leads you. – Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
