The Fight Is Fixed
By Dianne Prince
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” —1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
Life often feels like a battle. Challenges rise. Fears whisper. Doubts try to take hold. But here is the truth: the fight has already been decided. Victory belongs to us through Jesus Christ.
Think about David facing Goliath. Everyone thought David had no chance. A young shepherd, facing a seasoned giant. But David did not rely on his own strength. He said, “The battle is the Lord’s.” And before he even swung his sling, the outcome was determined. God had already secured the victory.
The same is true for you. Whatever giant you face today—illness, fear, uncertainty, broken relationships—remember this: the battle is not truly yours. The Lord has gone before you. The cross and the empty tomb guarantee the final outcome. The enemy may roar, but he cannot change what God has decided.
So today, walk in confidence. Pray boldly. Make choices in faith, not fear. Stand firm on God’s promises, even when circumstances look impossible.
Remember, the fight is fixed, and victory is certain. Do not live as a victim of the battle. Live as a child of the King who has already won.
