“Walking Boldly with God”

By Dianne Prince

“Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NKJV)

Fear is a natural response to uncertainty, but God calls us to respond differently. He commands strength and courage, not because we are naturally fearless, but because His presence goes with us wherever we step. Courage is not the absence of fear—it is trusting God despite it.

When fear threatens to hold us back, we can remind ourselves of God’s promises and past faithfulness. Each step we take in obedience, even trembling, is an act of faith. Courage grows as we keep our eyes on God rather than the obstacles before us.

Our courage can also encourage others. When people witness us stepping out in faith, they are inspired to trust God in their own situations. Our boldness becomes a testimony of God’s faithfulness and a beacon of hope.

So walk forward today with steady confidence, knowing you never walk alone. Let your courage shine—not as proof of your strength, but as a reflection of God’s presence—and watch how your faith can spark faith in others.
