A Testimony of Gratitude
By Dianne Prince
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1 (NKJV)
On this Thanksgiving Day, we gather to focus on the goodness of God. His blessings fill our lives in ways that far exceed what we see. His hand is always at work, even when we cannot perceive it. His presence is always with us, even when we cannot feel it. His mercy covers us, His strength upholds us, and His goodness continually flows toward us day after day.
Thanksgiving turns our attention from what we lack to all that God has faithfully provided. It reminds us that every step we take, every breath we breathe, and everything we possess comes from His loving hand. Reflecting on God’s goodness helps us slow down, look around, and recognize just how deeply we are cared for.
As we pause today, let us remember that the greatest reason for thankfulness is God Himself—His presence, His promises, and His unfailing love. When we reflect on His goodness, our hearts cannot help but overflow with praise.
Today, give thanks freely and wholeheartedly. Thank Him for family, friends, strength, provision, and peace. Thank Him for where He has brought you from and for where He is taking you. Let gratitude fill your conversations, your prayers, and your home.
Thanksgiving is not just a day on the calendar. It is our testimony that God has been good, God is good, and God will always be good.
