“Nothing Is Impossible”
By Dianne Prince
“For with God nothing will be impossible.” — Luke 1:37 (NKJV)
These powerful words were spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary, a teenager facing a situation that appeared impossible by every human measure. God had chosen her to carry the Savior of the world, and although she could not understand how it would happen, she chose to trust the One who is able to do the extraordinary.
The Christmas story itself is a reminder that God delights in doing what seems impossible. A virgin would give birth. The Son of God would come as a helpless infant. The King of all creation would lie in a manger. All of these events came to pass to fulfil a prophecy that was spoken hundreds of years in the past. Every part of the story reveals a God who works beyond human limitations and who fulfills His promises in miraculous ways.
In your own life, there may be circumstances that feel overwhelming or hopeless. You may face situations that appear too big, too complicated, or too far gone. Yet today’s scripture encourages you to look again, not at the size of the challenge, but at the greatness of your God. He has not changed. The same God who brought Jesus into the world in such a miraculous way is the God who holds the answer to every problem you have.
What has God promised you concerning your circumstance? What does His Word say about your dilemma? Nothing is too difficult for Him. No prayer is beyond His reach. No heart is too hardened to turn it around. No situation is beyond His ability to redeem.
The God of the impossible is working on your behalf, and His power is made perfect in every place where you feel weak.
