Zanne-She traveled abroad and became very ill when she returned. We [pray for the Lord to raise her off her sick bed and heal her body. – 1 Peter 5:7 – Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you.
Family Gatherings-We pray for traveling grace for all those traveling to and from family gatherings today. We also pray for a time of fun, fellowship and unity. – “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4 (ESV)
Those who feel alone-We lift you before the Lord to remain uplifted and connected to the fellowship of other believers. – Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
For those who are celebrating today without a loved one who recently passed away-We pray for a day filled with contentment, and for the Lord to help you take steps to make new memories and traditions. – 1 Thess 4:13-14 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
Caregivers-We ask God to keep you focused on His promises, for you to draw strength from His Word, and for His peace and assurance to surround you. – 2 Chronicles 16:9 “The eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them.”
Those who are stressed by a problem-We pray for relief from burdens that weigh heavy on your heart, for clarity on your next steps, and for divine courage to walk by faith. – Making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:2-5
Those starting over again-We pray you are given courage to start the rebuilding process and look to God to lead the way. – Psalm 91:1-3 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Everyone on the call-May your Christmas be merry and bright. We ask the Lord to help you remain faithful and grant you patience and perseverance as you wait for your prayers to be answered. – 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [a]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
