Carla-We pray she immerses herself in God’s Word and gains encouragement from His promises. We also pray God places a Christ-fearing person in her life who can be support for her. – Psalm 42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Joel-We pray for him to have an encounter with God. We ask for peace within himself and with his family. – 1 Corin 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

Those embarking upon a new business venture-We pray God grants them spiritual discernment, favor and clear guidance. – My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them for they will refresh your soul. Proverbs 3:21-22a (NLT)

Those who have fallen away from daily prayer and Bible reading-We ask God to reset minds, bodies and spirits to be thirsty for His word. We ask for authority to finish each day strong. – 1 Chronicles 22:13 – Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

Cancer Survivors-We are praying that they remain healthy and cancer free. – 3 John 1:2 I prosper and am in health even as my soul prospers.

Those making health care decisions-We ask God to give them insight and wisdom and guide them as they weigh all options and for their faith to be sustained. – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

Young adults who are living on their own-We entrust them into God’s care. We pray for joy to be ahead of them, for wisdom and guidance to be beside them, and for grace and truth to be behind them, pushing them forward. – Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray God strengthens your ability to discern His voice. We ask Him to make you more sensitive to where He is leading you, and for Him to supply you with all you need spiritually, emotionally and physically. – Isaiah 30:21, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” (NIV)
