Iola B -She is undergoing hip replacement surgery today, Feb 6. We are praying for all to go well and for a quick recovery with no complications. – “Pray continually” -1 Thessalonians 5:17
Joyce -She is hospitalized after suffering a stroke. We ask the Lord to breathe upon her body and make her whole. – “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” –Colossians 4:2
Bobby-We appeal to God to strengthen his body and make him well. – 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Luis-We ask the Lord to help him find his way. – Proverbs 2:6, “For the LORDÂ gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (NIV)
Melly-We lift him up for God to grant him wisdom in the things of God and for a productive life of helping God’s people. – 2 Thess 1:11-12 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Adults in School-We pray God’s favor on their progress and for them to recall the knowledge needed to pass all upcoming exams. We ask God to provide needs and to keep families in His protective care. – “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (NIV)
Those frustrated by a situation-We call upon God to revive spirits and grant gladness in their hearts. – Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy {shall be} upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; {and} sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray you are showered with God’s goodness today, that you look ahead in anticipation of what God is able to do, and for God’s favor to overtake you. – Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Proverbs 4:25
