“Sowing in Tears”

By Dianne Prince

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy” (Psalm 126:5, NKJV).

Sometimes life feels heavy, and it seems like our efforts go unnoticed. But today, I want to remind you: even the tears we sow are seen by God. God is at work and your tears are watering blessings that are yet to be produced. Joy is coming.

The Bible encourages us to keep sowing, not because the journey is easy, but because the work we do matters. Faithfulness is not measured by speed or applause, but by perseverance. Some victories come quickly; others require deep patience and long obedience in the same direction.

Tears do not cancel purpose—they often water it. God sees every unseen sacrifice, every quiet act of obedience, every moment you chose hope over despair. Anchored in truth, anchored in hope, and anchored in God’s promise, your labor is never in vain.

So, if today feels heavy, or progress feels slow, do not be discouraged. Keep sowing faithfully. You may not see it yet, but joy is coming.

Even in tears, faithful sowing produces a harvest of joy in God’s perfect time. So, keep sowing because God’s harvest is on the way.
