“Let Jesus Shine Through You”

By Dianne Prince

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24, NKJV).

Today’s scripture reminds us of our responsibility to care for those around us. Jesus is no longer with us in the flesh—so we are His hands for those who cannot help themselves. We are His feet for those who cannot go on their own. We are His mind for those who struggle to think clearly. We are advocates for the vulnerable. And we are His voice of encouragement for those who need to be lifted up.

God has made helping others simple. It only requires a willing heart and a little of the time He freely gives us. Each day, we are all granted the same 24 hours. How we use them matters, because lost time cannot be reclaimed.

In these uncertain times, many people are lonely. Some are hurting. Some are afraid, and others are unsure of how to make it through the day. Today’s verse urges us to be intentional. Focus on one person. If no one comes to mind, ask God. He will reveal someone in need of your love and kindness.

A short video call, a thoughtful text, a phone conversation, or even a handwritten note might be just what someone needs to reignite hope and restore faith.

Reach out. Share your time. Let someone know they are seen, valued, and loved. You may brighten their day more than you realize, and in doing so, you will bring joy to the heart of God.

You are God’s vessel. Let Him shine through you. You were made for this.
