Carolyn B -We keep her grandchildren, Journey, Armani, and Khtoi. lifted up in prayer. Also her kids Latoria, Audrey, and Aubrey. – Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Nyla-We ask God to grant her a fresh revelation of His Word and spiritual wisdom in making decisions. – Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Aging Parents and Other Relatives-We ask God to continue to keep them healthy physically and mentally, and allow them to finish strong spiritually. We pray for the Lord to increase their physical strength and mental sharpness daily. – Job 8:7 (NKJV) Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
First Time Parents-We pray God’s blessings on young families. We ask God to keep them in His protective care and give them wisdom to parent according to Godly standards. – God will pour His Spirit on my descendants, and His blessing on my offspring. (Isaiah 44:3)
College Students on Summer Break-We pray they get a summer job, that they effectively balance their responsibilities and for positive, upright friends. – An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. (Proverbs 18:15)
Those who have fallen away from reading their Bible daily-We ask God to recharge their commitment level and renew their thinking. – Colossians 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Those who are grieving-We ask the Lord to heal their grieving hearts and give them understanding. – I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. 2 Sam 22:4
All those on the call this morning-We pray for God to cover you with patience and endurance and guide you through the rough spots of the day. – Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
