“Follow the Light”

“The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130, NIV).
The unsaved often view God’s Word as a list of rules and restrictions. But as believers, we understand that His Word is not meant to limit us or take away our joy. Instead, it protects us from harm and shields us from destruction. It teaches us how to live with integrity, love even the unlovable, and position ourselves to receive the blessings He has prepared for us.
God’s Word illuminates our darkest moments, provides understanding when life is confusing, and guides us daily, moment by moment.
Let this be your reminder today: God’s Word has answers for everything you will face. It gives direction—when to move, when to wait, and when to adjust course. It teaches patience, trust, and unwavering faith under pressure.
Before making any decision, seek His Word and follow His lead. It will make your path clear, sharpen your thinking, and bring understanding to your circumstances.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105, ESV).
