Nina-We appeal to God to reveal Himself to her in a greater way, for her to grow in God’s will and His power, and for her to be empowered with a passion to move God’s kingdom forward. – John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Imani, young adult-We petition God to order her steps and direct her path. – Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight.

Lil Jamon, Caleb and all our small children-We pray for them to have grit, perseverance, an unwavering love for the Lord, and success in learning. – Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Those with unhealthy domestic environments-We ask the Lord to bring healing, protection, and stability to people facing unhealthy situations at home. Surround them with support, guide their hearts, and guide them toward peace and wholeness. – He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. — Psalm 147:3

The family going through the probate process involving their mother’s home-We pray for the attorney, the judge and anyone assigned to the cases. We also pray for the favor of God to expedite the process so the home can be sold and the funds distributed. – Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.

All the sheep that have scattered from churches all over this land-We ask the Lord to heal and mend all brokenness and for them to return to the body of Christ as God orders their steps. – Psalm 25:4-5, “Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” (NIV)

Those with a terminal illness diagnosis-We call upon God for His guidance, for Him to show Himself strong, and for families to be strengthened and led by God as they pray and support each other. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for God’s spirit to flow upon you, your children and your aging relatives. We ask the Lord to show you the way to go and make your path smooth. – Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.
