“God Will Restore What Is Broken”
By Dianne Prince
“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord. —Jeremiah 30:17 (NKJV)
There are times when life can leave us feeling worn, overlooked, or wounded. A difficult conversation can hurt. A financial burden can create fear. A disappointing outcome can make us wonder if anything will ever change. Yet God gives us a powerful promise: He restores and heals.
Notice that God does not say we will never experience wounds. He promises that our wounds do not have to define our future. What feels broken today can become a testimony of His faithfulness tomorrow.
Think about a tree after a storm. Its branches may be damaged, its leaves may be scattered, and its appearance may look hopeless. Yet if the roots are still grounded, new growth will come. In the same way, when you feel shaken to the core, stay rooted in God. Keep getting up every morning. Keep praying. Keep reading His Word. Keep taking the next step by faith.
Today, bring your wounded places to the Lord instead of holding them in. Ask Him to restore your peace, renew your strength, and heal what has been hurting. Then pray for a way to move forward. Make that phone call. Forgive someone. Rest when you need rest. Begin again.
God is not finished with you. Your present pain is not the final chapter. Your broken Spirit is not the end.
What looks like the end to you may simply be the place where God begins His restoration.
