“Held Together by God”
By Dianne Prince
“And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:17, NKJV).
There is never a moment when God loses track of you. He is not overwhelmed by the details of your life, and He is never distracted by the needs of the world. The same God who holds the universe in perfect order holds every part of your life together with that same care and precision. He sees your pressures, your deadlines, your relationships, and the things that weigh heavy on your heart.
When you try to manage it all yourself, the load becomes heavy. Your mind starts to race. But when you remember that Christ sustains everything—including you—you can rest. He already knows what needs attention. He knows what can wait. And He knows how it will all come together for your good.
So, today: pause before you react. Breathe before you worry. And ask God before you plan. Say, “Lord, You are holding this,” and truly let Him keep up with it all.
The world around you may feel chaotic, but in Him there is perfect order. The same power that keeps the sun, the moon and the stars in place is keeping you steady today.
You do not have to hold everything together—because the One who holds all things has never let a single thing slip from His hands.
God’s got you.
