“Angels on Assignment”

“If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:9-11, NIV).
There have been times in your life when the devil put his eye on you and decided to take you out. But unbeknownst to you, God stepped in and rescued you before the enemy got to you. There have been times when Satan dug a ditch for you to fall in, and you did not even know the ditch was there. But God dispatched His angels, and they invisibly lifted you above the danger. Thank God the angels were on their guard, doing their job of protecting you from impairment, injury, and destruction.
Realize that God has you hidden under the shadow of his wing. God has saved you from harm when you did not know you needed to be protected. And He has provided for you when you were not aware you had a need. God has placed people in your path to help you when you did not know you needed help. And God has cut a path before you when you did not know you needed a way out.
Today, know that God has dispatched His guardian angels all around you. They are alive. They are well. And they are actively watching over you. When you have done all you can to fight, and your back is against the wall, stay in the race and keep fighting. As you fight in your strength, know that God’s angels are invisibly defending you, guarding you, keeping you, and saving you from harm.
The Lord is indeed your refuge. As you make the Most High your dwelling place, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For God will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
