“Angels on Assignment”
By Dianne Prince
“If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you; no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:9-11, NIV).
There have been times when the devil set his sights on you, intending to take you out. Yet, without your knowledge, God stepped in and rescued you before the enemy could reach you. There were moments when Satan dug a ditch for you, but you didn’t even realize it. Still, God sent His angels, and they lifted you above the danger. Thank God for His angels, ever vigilant, protecting you from harm, injury, and destruction.
Remember that God keeps you hidden under the shadow of His wing. He has saved you from dangers you didn’t even know existed. He has provided for your needs before you recognized them. God has placed people in your path to help you when you didn’t know you needed it. He has made a way out when you didn’t realize you needed one.
Today, trust that God has dispatched His guardian angels around you. They are alive, well, and actively watching over you. When you’ve fought all you can and feel backed into a corner, stay in the race. Know that as you fight with your strength, God’s angels are invisibly defending, guarding, and keeping you safe from harm.
The Lord is indeed your refuge. As you make the Most High your dwelling place, no harm will overtake you, and no disaster will come near your tent. For God commands His angels to guard you in all your ways.
