“Created with Purpose”
By Dianne Prince
“All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
— Psalm 139:15, NIV
So often, we wish we were someone different—someone who seems more talented, confident, or successful. We try to live up to others’ expectations, forgetting that God designed us uniquely and intentionally.
Today’s scripture reminds us that comparison has no place in God’s plan. He crafted each of us as a one-of-a-kind creation. There is no other model of you. No one else can fulfill the purpose God designed specifically for your life.
Remember this: God never leaves you to figure out your purpose on your own. From the very beginning, He created you with a divine plan in mind. He placed you here to meet a particular need that only you can meet.
Ask God today what promise He made to the world when He created you. Ask Him what might remain undone if you do not step into the task He has prepared for you. Then look around—God is already at work. Join Him, and you will see how He uses you to impact someone’s life in ways beyond your imagination.
As you move through your day, know that nothing happens by chance or coincidence. Every moment has been written in God’s book long before it came to be. Expect Him to do great things through you. Be watchful. Be ready. Be willing.
God has already prepared your steps—walk boldly in them.
