“Faithful Stewards of God’s Blessings”

By Dianne Prince

“The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1, NKJV).

Everything we have belongs to God Take a moment and consider all that God has placed in our hands. Our family. Our home. Our resources. Our abilities. Our time. And even our very lives are gifts entrusted to us by His loving hand. We are not owners; we are stewards. A steward is someone entrusted with the care and management of another’s possessions. God, in His wisdom, has placed resources, relationships, and responsibilities into our care and calls us to manage them faithfully.

Every day presents opportunities to honor Him with what He has given us. We can use our homes to welcome others, our resources to help those in need, and our work to reflect integrity, diligence, and Christlike character. Whether we are caring for our families, serving at our jobs, or making decisions about our time and finances, we are called to seek God’s direction and follow His Word.

Scripture reminds us that we entered this world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing. The possessions we hold today are temporary, but the impact we make for God’s kingdom has eternal value. Therefore, let us hold earthly things with open hands and grateful hearts, remembering that all we have is His.

Today, ask the Lord to help you be a faithful steward of every blessing He has entrusted to your care. Use it wisely, manage it prayerfully, and dedicate it completely to His glory.

Carry this truth with you today: Everything we have belongs to God, and our greatest privilege is to use it for His glory.
