The young man who will be coming home to visit-We pray for safe travels and a memory-making, great weekend with his family. – Psalms 46:10 – Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Frank, Armond and Stacy-We lift them before God for spiritual guidance, wisdom and understanding. – Colossians 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Children with behavioral problems-We ask God to grant them the self-control to follow those in authority, a settled mind and a spirit of obedience. – Zechariah 4:6 Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Asthma sufferers and those with lung conditions-We ask God for breathing relief and for a miraculous healing. – Psalm 107:20 He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Those whose income has been reduced-We ask God to cover them with his peace, supply their shortage and open doors for them to boost their earnings.- Isaiah 25:1 [ Praise to the Lord ] Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
Those needing divine intervention in finding a job-We ask God to grant staying power, open employment doors and work things out in their favor. – Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Those needing to make a decision about surgery-We pray God gives them the guidance to take the right course. We ask Him to prick their spirits with the right answers. – Matthew 7:24-24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock…”
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray God gives you the level of strength needed for the day, the endurance to bear up under adversity, and the patience needed to sustain you. – Psalm 120:1 I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me.
