S Bain-We pray for the test results that are being done for cancer to be favorable and for the Lord’s covering and his healing power to penetrate the environment.
Napolean H-We lift him up for a personal encounter with Christ. We ask for security, safety and protection in Christ. – 2 Corin 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Those traveling today and this weekend-We pray traveling grace for those being transported by vehicle, plane, train, or cruise ship. – Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Children who have signs of developmental issues-We pray that the Lord will open doors for them to get the proper treatment and for a miraculous healing. We also pray for stress relief and respite care for parents who need to be refreshed. – Psalms 41:3 The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
Loved ones with Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases-We pray for healing in minds and bodies, for God to regulate reasoning ability, and for those with the disease to have peaceful days and restful nights. – Psalm 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.
The bereaved among us-We pray you find comfort in cherished memories and the love of those around you, and be given strength to face each new day with hope. – Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (NLT)
Those in toxic work environments -We are praying for a calm and productive work environment where everyone is valued and appreciated and for favor with their colleagues and superiors. – Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for you to stay focused on pleasing God and not men, for you to recall all of the benefits of God throughout the day, and for you to stay the course and finish the day strong. – “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed – he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.” (Hebrews 12:2 MSG)
