Shay and her family-She received word that her 23-year-old son was murdered by gun violence this morning. We pray for the Lord to give them understanding, soothe their heartache and comfort them as they face the days ahead. – 2 Corin 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Troy of South Florida-He is still hospitalized. We pray for a breakthrough in his healing, for the medical team to be successful and for him to be healed without complications. – Psalm 118:17 I shall not die but live and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.
Those with pacemakers and other life-saving devices-We lift them for God’s protective eye to watch over them and for them to be kept in all God’s ways. – “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8
Those with chronic pain in their body-We pray for the pain to subside, for nights to be restful, for days to be pleasant and pain free, and for bodies to be miraculously healed. – Job 33:25-26 (NIV) Then his flesh is renewed like a child’s; it is restored as in the days of his youth. {26} He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God’s face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.
Unstable Marriages-We petition God to stabilize marriages, give couples godly wisdom to deal with the ups and downs, and strengthen all family units. – Psalm 85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
Those fasting-We pray you grow closer to God and hear His voice clearly. We ask for strongholds to be destroyed and for divine breakthroughs to be manifested. – Job 4:10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
Our Aging Relatives-We pray for strength for their bodies in this season of their lives and for strong spiritual and mental health. – “In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.” (Psalm 138:3).
Those who have trouble controlling their tongue-We ask God to give them self-restraint in their choice of Words and to help them speak words that build others up. – Eph 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray God showers you with His unending favor and surrounds you with His guidance. Deuteronomy 2:7 For the LORD your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.
