Dee of Orlando-She has a colonoscopy this morning. We pray for the results to be negative and normal and for her body to be vibrant like in her youth. – Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The young lady who got a new job- We thank God for opening a door for her and we pray for her to be endowed with stamina to stick with it. We ask the Lord to place the right people in her path to mentor and encourage her. – Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Breanne, young adult-We pray she develops a reverence for God, a respect for senior adults and for her to honor her parents. – “You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD. (Leviticus 19:32 ESV)

Those who are carrying a heavy burden-We ask God to show them how to surrender it all to Him, for Him to give them peace of mind and a joy-filled spirit. – Psalm 4:8 – In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.

Our children and relatives away at college -We ask God to cover them with his mercy, guide their actions, direct their decisions, and protect them from evil and harm. – My descendants shall be known among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed. (Isaiah 61:9)

Those being controlled by strongholds-We pray for clear thinking, deliverance and freedom in Christ. – 2 Corinthians 10:4, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” – John 8:32 “continue in my word… and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Those anxious about what the day might bring-We ask the Lord to grant a day of peace, spiritual rest and a quiet mind.  – Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Everyone on the call-We pray for the Lord to give you the courage to follow him when your path feels unclear and we ask Him to shape your decisions today. – Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
