“God Has Already Cut A Path”
By Dianne Prince
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV).
As children, we are trained to be imaginative and creative when faced with a roadblock. As adults, we bring that same mindset when faced with an overwhelming problem. When the path ahead is unclear, we dive in, headfirst, and get busy trying to come up with a solution. Be reminded today that God does not require us to solve every problem or figure out every move. He simply calls us to trust Him. God sees the whole picture—the beginning, the middle, and the end—and He has already constructed a solution and a blessing into every part of your journey.
When we try to control every detail of every problem it is easy to become anxious and weary. Today’s scripture reminds us that we are to pray about it and rest in the assurance that God is already at work. Like an architect who creates a blueprint for a house, God has designed each step with care, positioning us for increase, blessings, and purpose. Our job is to walk in faith, let go of the need to see the full plan and release the urge to know how things will end up.
Your reminder for today is this: God is not asking you to come up with a solution to your problem. He is asking you to trust that He already has. There is always a way when God is involved. And he has already cleared the road ahead. God’s plans for you are already in motion. So, release the weight of trying to figure it all out, and allow God to lead you each day because He has already made the way.
