Grace Is Enough

By Dianne Prince

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
—2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV

Some days we wake up feeling strong and ready for whatever comes. Other days, we wake up already feeling tired, uncertain, or overwhelmed. But God gives us the same promise on both kinds of days: His grace is enough.

We have all learned that God does not always remove the difficult thing. Sometimes, instead of taking the trial away, God gives us the grace to walk through it. That means we don’t have to have all the answers before we begin our day. We don’t have to know how everything will work out. We simply need to trust God because He knows how things will end.

Your weakness does not disqualify you from taking a step by faith. Your limitations do not limit God. In fact, when we come to the end of our own strength, we discover that God’s strength was never dependent on ours.

So today, don’t carry tomorrow’s burdens. Give God what you cannot control. Ask Him for wisdom when you don’t know what to do. Ask Him for strength when you feel like giving up, and ask Him for peace when your circumstances make no sense.

Whatever today brings, remember this: you are not facing it alone. God’s grace will meet you right where you are. His strength will sustain you. And His power will carry you through.

When your strength runs out, God’s grace has only begun.
