“Keep Doing Good”

Galatians 6:9, 10 – “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.” (NLT)
Today’s minute is for those of you who are out there doing the good work, and “fighting the good fight of faith” (1 Tim. 6:12, KJV). For the saints who are diligently studying the word and applying its principles in their daily walk. For those praying with and for people without them even knowing that you are praying for them. For the believers in the trenches every week making sure bible teaching is happening in our churches and communities, and for those working in the food pantries making sure that the less fortunate do not go hungry in these trying times.
The word today goes out to those visiting the homeless, the hospitals and the help centers. For the faithful follower loving on children and families all around you simply because you know it is what God has called you to do. Stay Faithful!
With all that is going on in the world I know it is becoming harder and harder to wade through the sludge and the sickness to get to a place where you can see that your work is not in vain. Please, let me remind you that your good work does not go unnoticed, God sees you, He knows what you are doing and even when it does not feel like it, He is with you and He still cares.
Again Galatians 6:9, 10 prompts us, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to those in the family of faith.”
The days can get long and tiresome, but here is my encouragement for you today. Stay faithful and do not get weary in your well doing. Don’t give up, and don’t give in. Keep being a blessing to others, and God will continue to bless and strengthen you. You might not see it now, but a great big dose of God’s glory is headed your way.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not get weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, KJV)
Keep worshiping, keep waiting, and keep on working. God has not forgotten about you. Have a wonderful, faithful, and joyful Friday!
