The Lady having a blood transfusion this morning-We pray for the Lord to surround her with His peace and healing, guide every hand caring for her, strengthen her body, and let her feel His comforting presence through it all. – And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. — Bible James 5:15
Wayne-We intercede for him to fall in love with Jesus and give his life totally to the Lord. – III John 1:2 says: “Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Our Young People who are struggling to make financial ends meet-We ask the Lord to give them insight, reveal to them a realistic plan, and put them on the road to financial independence. We also pray for all our young people to find and regularly attend a place of worship. – Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything to hard for Me?”
Those who suffer from anxiety-We make an earnest appeal to God for minds and spirits to be kept calm, for release from strongholds, and for needs to be supplied. – All my children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of my children. In righteousness they shall be established; they shall be far from oppression, for they shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near them. (Isaiah 54:13-14)
Those with a contentious spirit-We ask for the spirit of divisiveness, bitterness and strife to be destroyed and replaced with oneness. – Rom 15 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other.
Those who are on the verge of mental and emotional collapse-We pray for emotional healing and wholeness. – Proverbs 3:6 – In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Those with opposition on their job-We pray for inner strength to wait on God to set things right and for God to usher you to a quiet and content place. – Psalm 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray you keep your eyes on Jesus, your mind on His Word, and for you to be an agent of peace and a voice of reason today. – Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed – he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. (Hebrews 12:2 MSG)
