New Christians-We pray God guards their hearts and protects their minds from the enemy. We pray they do not get frustrated by the issues of life, but grow in the knowledge and wisdom of Jesus Christ. – Job 33:26 (NIV) He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God’s face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state.

John E.-We ask God to renew his mind, refresh his spirit, and put him on the road to family connection and restoration. – “The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

Those who are anxious-We ask the Lord to calm uneasy spirits, relieve worried minds and grant an atmosphere of peace. – “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NIV

Those who are no longer able to care for themselves due to failing health-We ask God to give them a double portion of peace and contentment, and place a willing, dependable, patient person in their lives, one who will care for them with compassion and excellence. – Isaiah 25:1 [Praise to the Lord] Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

The upcoming generation-We pray the upcoming generation will show themselves as God-fearing offspring and for them to display a strong, moral fiber. We pray for their decisions to be directed by God and for them to carry on the legacy of honesty and hard work. – I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4: 12-13)

Those needing to see a move of God’s hand-We pray for the Lord’s favor and success in job searching and debt free living. – Deut 28:8 The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. (NIV)

Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for the Lord to make your path clear, your decisions sound, and your day filled with peace. – The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. (Psalm 29:11).
