“Never Without Him”
By Dianne Prince
“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8, NKJV).
God’s grace is truly remarkable. He stays with us when we stumble. He remains when we make poor choices. Even when we deny Him, He does not walk away.
Consider Jacob—a deceiver, a manipulator, a man who stole his brother Esau’s birthright. Yet despite his failures, God said, “I will always be with you.” Jacob faced the consequences of his actions, but God never left his side. In danger, God protected him. When mistreated, God made things right. Through every hardship, God’s presence remained, and in time, He brought Jacob to a place of peace and blessing.
Today’s Scripture reminds us that God is with us through every season, both the joyful and the difficult. Even when we are facing the fallout of our own mistakes, He does not walk away. He walks beside us when we walk. He stands beside us when we stand. He feels our joy and our pain. He sees our tears, understands our doubts, and embraces our weaknesses.
People may promise to stand by you, but when challenges come or decisions clash, their support may waver. Do not be discouraged when others let you down. People will be people, but God will always be God. Faithful. Steadfast. True. He will always do exactly what He promised.
No matter what today holds, remember this: God is near. He will meet every need. He is your strength in trials, your escape from temptation, and your comfort when you feel alone.
So today, choose to rely on Him. Be patient. Endure. Trust not in your own strength, but in the God who never leaves your side. He is with you—guiding, strengthening, and sustaining you in every moment.
