“Our Savior Is Born”

By Dianne Prince

“You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21, NKJV)

The world saw a child resting in a manger, but heaven announced a Savior. Jesus was born with divine purpose. His very name means salvation, and every step of His life would reflect that mission. From the humility of His birth to the sacrifice of the cross, nothing was accidental.

Christmas is more than a cherished memory or a joyful tradition. It is a holy reminder of why He came. Jesus stepped into a broken world to lift burdens of sin, calm fearful hearts, and replace shame with mercy. He came to redeem what was lost, restore what was damaged, and offer peace where turmoil once ruled. His arrival opened the door to hope, and that door still stands open today.

Because He came, forgiveness is available for every failure we experience. Because He lived in obedience, died in love, and rose in victory, grace is freely given to each of us. The manger gently points us forward to the cross, and the cross leads us into new life filled with peace and purpose.

As the lights glow and the songs continue, keep this truth close. Jesus is the only one who has the power to transform lives.

Today, choose to walk in the freedom He offers. Receive His grace with gratitude and extend that grace to others. Your Savior has come, and His grace is more than enough for every step ahead.
