“Rise and Shine”

By Dianne Prince

“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)

Get up. Today is a gift. No matter how you feel, you have been given breath and purpose. Rise with intention, knowing that God has already gone before you.

Dress up. Clothe yourself with strength, dignity, and the armor of God. Wear joy like a crown and let peace be your perfume.

Show up. Be present where God has placed you. Whether it is in a quiet home or a crowded workplace, your presence matters.

Speak up. Your words carry power. Encourage someone. Tell the truth in love. Use your voice to bless, not to bruise.

Step up. Do not wait to be asked. Take initiative in faith. God equips those who are willing.

Light up. Let the radiance of Christ shine through your kindness, your patience, your compassion. A simple smile can brighten a weary heart.

Let up. Give yourself grace. Rest when needed. Let God be God.

You are not here by accident. You are called to be salt and light in this very moment. So rise with boldness, walk with confidence, and end this day knowing you made a difference.

And remember, God is with you, in you, and working through you—so shine on.
