Those diagnosed with an incurable disease-We pray for God to put symptoms and diseases into remission, for medications and treatments to be effective with minimal side effects and for total restoration of health. – Psalm 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Those whose medicine is causing side effects-We beseech God for medications and vital signs to be stabilized, and for bodies to be regulated. – Numbers 6:25-26 The Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.
Those with a cloud of uncertainty looming over their head-We pray for God to give them the desires of their heart. We ask the Lord to show them how to trust God with the situation and give them peace about what the Lord decides to do. – Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Children in a custody battle-We appeal to God to keep them in a stable environment and protect them from hurt, harm and danger. – 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Those who have lost jobs or been laid off-We ask God to send resources their way. We pray for jobs to be offered, for bills to get paid and for a season of peace and contentment. – Philippians 4:19 (NLT) 19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Everyone on the call this morning-We ask God to rest His favor upon your life, for Him to grant you a serene day and order your way. – 1 Chronicles 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
