The Davis Family-The funeral for Bertha Jackson, Ben Davis’ sister, will NOT be held Tuesday, May 5th. The family is still working to finalize a date. We continue to pray for them to be covered with the Lord’s deepest compassion and unity as they make homegoing arrangements. – Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Marquis, young adult-We ask the Lord to show Himself strong and make Marquis’ path clear as he goes through a life-changing situation. – Psalm 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
LaPorsha J of Illinois, young adult -We pray for God to walk with her as she works to know God better. We ask the Lord to hold her children close, grow her in wisdom and revelation knowledge, and heal her family relationship. – Ephesians 1:17-18 [Pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
Young parents who have lost their way-We pray for them to increase in knowledge and spiritual insight, and develop into an unshakable force for Christ. We keep them covered in prayer for the Lord to protect them from the tricks of the enemy. – Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Our children with learning disabilities-We pray for God to download academics and learning concepts into their minds, for parents to find a teaching environment for them that is conducive to their learning and behavioral needs, and for them to remain in God’s compassionate care. – Psalm 115:14 (NIV) 14 May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. Those traveling today and this weekend-We intercede for you to have safe travels to and from your destination and for you to make excellent memories. – Psalm 139:9-10 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me; your right hand will hold me fast.
