Kevn R and those who need a fresh start-We make an earnest appeal to God to open doors for a new beginning, for the favor of God to cover them as they move forward, and for them to become advocates for Christ. – Psalm 91:1-3   He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

Those who have fallen away from God-We pray for God to impart His wisdom, increase their understanding and lead them to a place of inner peace in Him. – Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will counsel you and watch over you.

Those who are afraid to try again-We pray for God to give them a push to get going and inspiration to face what they fear with confidence. – Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Psalm 61:1-4)

Bereaved Families-We pray that hearts overflow with good memories, that minds be at peace, and that spirits to be at rest. – Deut 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

The mentally ill among us-We pray God protects them. We ask Him to quicken spirits, heal minds, give clarity of thought, and renew their reasoning ability. – Romans 8:24-26 “In hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what is seen? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.”

Those whose loved ones are in hospice-We pray God grants them encouragement, strength, and staying power as His will is done in the lives of their sick loved ones. – Psalm 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Everyone on the Call this Morning-We pray you manage your affairs according to God’s plans for you, have patience to wait on Him, and endurance to stay the course. – Prov 12:18 There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
