Those impacted by the government shutdown-We pray for the Lord’s wisdom and intervention in this time of uncertainty, and that leaders would act with integrity and compassion for those affected by the shutdown. Bring peace, provision, and stability to every worker and family facing fear and financial strain. – Psalm 3:3-5 But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
The community of Bucksnort, Tennessee-An explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems located about 50 miles west of Nashville where they manufacture ammunition left multiple people dead and 18 people missing. We pray for the families and friends of those who lost their life and for the Lord to surround the community with His deepest compassion as they come to terms with their loss. – Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Couples going through a rough patch-We pray for communication lines to open, for honest dialogue and for reconciliation. – Psalm 37:7 – Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Non-profits that provide food and clothing-We pray for Christ to be magnified, for souls to be drawn to Him, and for ministry needs to be exceeded. – “Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence.” (Psalm 105:4 MSG)
Those with back pain-We pray for God to heal herniated disks, strains, and other back problems, to keep His children strong, and keep them focused on the things of God. – (Matthew 8:13 NKJV) Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
Everyone on the call this morning-We ask God to help you live today in anticipation of God doing great things. We also pray for His goodness to overtake you. – Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Proverbs 4:25
