“Sent with Purpose”
By Dianne Prince
“So Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you’” (John 20:21, NKJV).
Our calling is not limited to a pulpit or a mission field. It is woven into our everyday life. Today’s scripture is not just reserved for those in ministry leadership positions but meant for all who follow Him. Each of us is sent. Right where we are—at home, in our workplace, and in our neighborhood. We are a vessel of hope in a broken world.
Every interaction we make becomes an opportunity to reflect Christ. A kind word, a listening ear, a helping hand—these are the ways God uses us to show other people His love. But each day we must make an intentional choice to prioritize God over our own agenda, to slow down and ask, “Lord, what do You want to do through me today?”
Life is not about being perfect. It is about living with purpose. When we choose to represent Jesus, even in small ways, God smiles and lives are touched.
Your reminder for today is this. You do not need a title to make a difference. All you need is a willing heart. God delights in using ordinary people for extraordinary impact. You were made for this moment—called, equipped, and sent.
The same power that sent Jesus now sends you. Walk boldly in peace and with purpose. Why? Because someone’s breakthrough may come through your obedience.
