Strength Beyond Your Own
By Dianne Prince
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
Life often brings seasons when we feel weak, inadequate, or overwhelmed. In those moments, it is tempting to rely on our own strength and forget that true power comes from God. Paul’s words remind us that weakness is not a hindrance—it is an opportunity for God’s strength to shine.
When we acknowledge our limitations, we create space for God to work. Our weaknesses become the canvas for His power to be displayed and His hand to be experienced. Instead of hiding our struggles, we can bring them before the Lord, trusting that He will transform them into a testimony of His strength beyond our own.
Just as God’s grace sustains us in our weakest moments, we are called to encourage and support those who feel powerless, hopeless, or unseen. A kind word, a helping hand, or a prayer allows His strength to flow through us into the lives of others.
So today, do not despise your weakness. Embrace it as an opportunity for God’s power to shine through you. His grace is sufficient, His strength is greater, and His power is made perfect in every weakness.
