Dianne-We pray for God’s favor to find employment where she can thrive, for her to be compensated for her skills and be valued for her contributions. – Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.

Burdened parents-We stand in agreement with parents that God will give them clear guidance on how to help and support their adult children, without enabling them in their wrong choices. – Jeremiah 46:27 – But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make [him] afraid.

Those travelling today-We petition God for travelling grace, for good fellowship and for needs to be met. – Proverbs 3:23 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble.

All those in the path of tropical storm Melissa-We are praying for safety and peace. We ask the Lord to help them make the right decision regarding whether they evacuate or stay in place. – Psalm 57:1 “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until the destroying storms pass by.”

Those whose work hours have been cut or eliminated-We call upon the Lord to replenish your supply and give you more than enough. – 2 Corin 9:10 “May He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”

Spouses who have lost their way-We plead with God to give them a heart of compassion, a mind to do right by their families, and for them to develop a sincere love for God and His ways. – “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light” (2 Samuel 22:17, 29, NIV).

Christian Worship Services everywhere-We pray for the Lord to bless pastors as they preach His Word, strengthen those serving in every role, and open the hearts of all who gather to worship, that the Holy Spirit’s presence may fill and transform us today. – Eph 3:17 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

All those on the call this morning-We request God to give you a spirit of praise for His goodness, thanksgiving for His presence, spiritual consolation if you are hurting, and for God to mend your health if your body is not it its best. – James 5:13-15 Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out.
