Terrelle-We pray for God’s favor and protection on his life. – Psalm 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
Marie-We beseech God to grant her an additional stream of income. We ask him to make her path clear and lead her to a place of spiritual contentment. – John 16:24 – Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Luis-We intercede for strongholds to be broken, for the mind of Christ to overtake him and for him to develop into a God-fearing, upright living person who contributes positively to his community and to society. – Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
Our unmarried young adult children-We ask God to grant them spiritual discernment and wisdom in choosing a person to date and to quicken their spiritual eyes and ears so they can see and hear those God is steering them from, those he is steering them to, and those he is directing them to cut ties with. – Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT) “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
Those in physically abusive relationships-We pray for revelation knowledge of the seriousness of the situation, courage to walk away, emotional healing and provision. – Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will counsel you and watch over you.
Those preaching today-We pray for truth to go forth with power. We pray as the Word of God is spoken, it will draw sinners to Christ and build up Saints according to their needs. – Ephesians 6:19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.
Those serving during worship service today-We ask the Lord to empower them to serve with a spirit of perfection and joy. – 1 Corin 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.
Everyone on the call this morning-We make an appeal to God to give you guidance in your choices, wisdom in your decision making, and encouragement in your soul. – Deut 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
