Those preaching today-We call on the Lord for a spiritually empowering message. We also pray it motivates those who are listening to trust God. We pray the unsaved are drawn to a decision to receive Christ. – Ephesians 6:19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.
All truck drivers-We pray for God’s continued protection, safety and peace. We ask that they grow deeper in Christ and uplift someone along the way as they perform their jobs. – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6).
Young People transitioning into adulthood-We ask the Lord to keep his hands upon them, for everything they do to be done with a pure heart and for them to be guided by the light of God’s Word. -My descendants shall be known among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed. (Isaiah 61:9)
Spouses Ready to Give Up on their marriage-We pray God gives them clear direction on what to do, the strength to persevere, and the courage to take drastic steps to get into His will for their life. We ask that He gives them the assurance and the means to care for their children. – James 1:5 But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.
Spouses who have lost their way-We plead with God to make them aware of the hurt, the pain, and the insecurity they are causing their loved ones. We ask Him to give them a heart of compassion, a mind to do right by their family, and for them to develop a sincere love for God and His ways. – “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light” (2 Samuel 22:17, 29, NIV).
Grandparents who are raising their grand and great grandchildren-We lift the children to grow up in the fear of God. We also pray for the financial needs of the family to be met, for the emotional and physical needs of grandparents to be granted, and for them not to grow weary. – Romans 8:24“In hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope.
Those with an unexpected financial obligation-We pray for God to make a way for bills to be paid, for homes and cars to be maintained and for Him to provide relief to those in a financial bind. – Rom 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things?
Everyone on the call this morning-We ask God to keep His eyes and his hands on you, His protection around you and to cut a clear path for you. – 1 Pet 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason.
