Marie S.-We pray for God to examine her heart and reveal to her the things that are coming between her and God. We also pray for her service to God to remain relevant and effective. – 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Children with behavioral problems-We ask God to grant them the self-control to follow those in authority, a settled mind and a spirit of obedience. – Zechariah 4:6 Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Those in need of permanent, full-time work-We pray for God’s favor to rest upon them and for employment doors to open. – Psalm 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.
Those preaching today-We pray God adequately prepares them to accurately deliver today’s Word and for the Word to be fresh, inspiring, and empowering. – Jeremiah 1:9 Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
All those diagnosed with dementia-We pray God gives them peaceful days and restful nights. We also lift caregivers for unlimited patience, renewed energy, spiritual insight and compassion. – (Isaiah 58:8 NKJV) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Those in jail and prison-We ask for a personal encounter with Christ and protection through Him. – 2 Corin 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Those in need of a breakthrough in their parent/ child relationship-We pray for God to break down communications barriers between mothers and daughters and fathers and sons and rebuild broken relationships. – Mt 6:8 “your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.” – Ps 34:10 “those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for an increased commitment to personal study and prayer. We ask God to grow you deeper in His will and His ways, and for all your needs to be met. – Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
