“A Month of Gratitude”

By Dianne Prince

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” — Psalm 103:2 (NKJV)

As this month of thanksgiving comes to a close, we pause to remember just how faithful God has been. Gratitude is more than a theme for November. It is a lifestyle for the believer. When we choose to remember God’s goodness, our hearts remain anchored in praise long after the season ends.

The psalmist reminds us not to forget God’s benefits—His forgiveness, His healing, His protection, His provision, His mercy, and His love. These blessings are not seasonal. They are constant. Gratitude helps us recognize that we live every day covered by God’s favor and surrounded by His grace.

Looking back over the month, we can see God’s hand in countless ways. He has strengthened us, guided us, protected us, and comforted us. He has met needs, opened doors, restored hope, and renewed our joy. Every day has carried a reason to give thanks.

As we move forward, let us take the spirit of gratitude with us. Let it shape our words, influence our attitudes, and deepen our trust in God. Thanksgiving is not something we leave behind. It is something we carry into every season.

Today, bless the Lord with your whole heart. Remember His goodness, acknowledge His faithfulness, and choose gratitude as your way of life.

A grateful heart does not wait for a holiday. It remembers daily that God has been good, God is good, and God will always be good.
