Thank God for His Timing
By Dianne Prince
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV)
We may grow impatient waiting for answers or frustrated when things do not move as quickly as we would like, but Scripture reminds us that God is never late. He is intentional. Every delay has purpose, and every season unfolds according to His divine plan.
Being thankful for God’s timing requires trust. It means believing that God sees what we cannot and knows what we do not. Sometimes, He withholds what we want now to give us what we truly need later. Other times, He uses the waiting to prepare our hearts, strengthen our faith, or align circumstances for something far greater than we imagined.
When we choose gratitude instead of anxiety, peace begins to grow. We stop striving and start resting in the assurance that God is working—even in the silence, even in the wait.
Today, thank God for His perfect timing. Thank Him for the doors that opened and the ones that stayed closed. Trust that His schedule is better than yours and that His timing is never off.
Gratitude turns waiting into worship and transforms delay into divine preparation.
