Matesha, Anita’s co-worker-She had surgery yesterday. We pray that it was successful and that her recovery progresses as projected by the doctors and with minimal pain and discomfort. – Seek Me and you shall live. (Amos 5:4)
Aaron-We pray for him to continue to grow him in the things of God, for him to find a biblically sound church home, and for God’s plan for his life to be made clear and visible. – Exodus 35:31-32 And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze.
Terry-We plead the blood of Jesus over his life. We declare spiritual wisdom in making decisions, spiritual growth in the Word of God, and for continued safety and protection. – Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Those with respiratory issues-We pray the doctors are able to prescribe an effective and proper treatment, and for health to be fully restored. – Luke 8:50 But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
Our Offspring-We pray for generational curses to be broken, for them to set a spiritual example, and be role models for the next generation. – Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.
Those whose decisions are not wise-We ask God to grant them wisdom to look past the present, for their decisions and choices to be rooted in morality and righteousness, and for them to walk in the light of God. – Psalm 119:143 Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight.
Those traveling today and this weekend-We ask the Lord to cover all travelers with His amazing grace. – Psalm 139:9-10 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me; your right hand will hold me fast.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for sustained good health in your body, for your mind and your spirit to be calm, for God to direct every decision you are confronted with today, and for His favor to overtake you. – If you’re willing and obedient, you’ll eat the best that the land produces; (spiritually emotionally and physically) Isaiah 1:19
