Tekisha-She has been at the ER three times in 2 weeks. We pray for the doctor to make the proper diagnosis with the help of God, for her to be prescribed the right medication and for her to be made whole. We also pray for her grandmother, Sister Demps to be healed because she is not feeling her best. – Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Dot W-We pray for her salvation and a change in her thinking and heart. – John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
Request from Charles H He writes, “…Today I have court and I’m praying that I am released back to freedom where I can continue to serve the LORD in his temple outside of chains and bars. I’m seeking you Lord because you are God of Justice, you are our lawgiver, and our King. For if two agree here on earth concerning anything we ask for, my father in heaven will do it…Father you say we have not because we ask not & God I’m asking you do that one thing in that courtroom today that will flip everything. Father HELP us & rescue us from our enemies. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.”
Those faced with an uncertain future-We pray that God will replace uncertainty with confidence, fear with courage, and comfort them with His promises. We ask the Lord to be with them and make their path clear as they go about their daily dealings.. – Psalm 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
Churches without a pastor-We make an earnest appeal to God to lead pastoral search committees, for there to be no division among congregations, and for them to be guided by consistent prayer and godly wisdom. – Jeremiah 3:15 Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.
Those who do not see a way out of their situation-We ask God to strengthen their faith in His ability to do all things and keep hope alive in their spirit. – The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (Lamentations 3:26)
Those undergoing medical tests-We pray for results to be accurate and favorable and for reports of good progress. – Phil 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Young People being influenced by the world-We pray for the light of God to saturate their hearts, for the truth of His word to become clear, and for His presence to restrain and protect them. We also pray for godly wisdom for parents on how to handle adult children who have gone rogue. – Jude 1:2 May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
Everyone on the call this morning-We pray for the Lord to use you to bring someone closer to Him. We ask Him to help you get through the day and keep you on the path He has carved out for you. – 2 Corinthians 4:6, “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” (NIV)
